Alpha draft — the owner must review these before public launch.
Privacy notice
Last updated
This notice explains what PriorityField stores about you, why, and what you can do about it. During the closed alpha the service is run by one operator: the person who invited you.
What we store
- Your email address, to sign you in.
- Your sign-in identities from Discord or Google, if you use them: the account id they give us and the email address they confirm.
- Your handle, display name and pronouns (pronouns are optional).
- Which age band you chose when you signed up: 13–17, or 18 or older.
- Your profile picture, if you add one. We re-encode it into a small square image and remove its metadata (such as location or camera details); the file you uploaded is not kept.
- Your friends, friend requests, the players you block, and your notifications.
- Session records for each browser you sign in with: when the session started and was last used, your browser's user agent, and a shortened IP address (the network part only: the first three numbers of an IPv4 address, or the first 48 bits of an IPv6 address).
- Sign-in link requests: the email address, when it was asked for, and the IP address it came from, so we can limit abuse.
We don't use passwords, so we never store one.
What other players see
Signed-in players can see your handle, display name, pronouns and picture. Your friends can see when you're online. Players you block can't find your profile or send you requests.
Video and audio
Games over webcam come in a later version. Video and audio are not recorded. This notice will be updated before tables open.
Cookies
We only use cookies that are strictly necessary to sign you in:
- a session cookie that keeps you signed in (up to 30 days, renewed while you use the site);
- a short-lived cookie while you confirm a sign-in link;
- a short-lived cookie during a Discord or Google sign-in.
There are no tracking, advertising or analytics cookies.
When sign-in emails are switched on, they are sent through Resend, an email delivery service. During the closed alpha, sign-in links are usually passed on to you by the operator instead.
Where your data lives
During the alpha, PriorityField runs on the operator's own computer and can only be reached over a private Tailscale network. We don't sell your data or share it with anyone else.
Your choices
- You can change your display name, handle, pronouns and picture at any time in Edit profile.
- To have your account and data deleted, ask the operator who invited you. Self-service deletion and data export come in a later version.
Changes and contact
This notice may change during the alpha; the date at the top shows the latest version. Questions go to the operator who invited you. See also the Terms of use.
